My name is Maya Mulcahy and I am a recent graduate in Communications and media from Richmond the American University in London. I have a strong interest in visual storytelling, branding, and digital media. This website is a portfolio of my photography work so far from 2025, as well as presentations documenting projects from my communications degree, created to showcase both my creative perspective and my growing technical skills.
Throughout my academic journey, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the role that imagery plays in communication—how a single photo can convey emotion, shape identity, and connect with an audience. My work explores these ideas while reflecting my eye for detail and my idea of visual aesthetics.
As I work toward a career in media and creative industries, I’m using this platform (Cargo) to present the projects I’ve developed from what I have learned as a student through my personal projects that reflects my style and point of view in my travels, interests and education while using my website making skills to showcase my ability to create a creative, unique website from scratch and enjoy frequently updating.
